Everything about the population of heaven in The Quran
The different levels of heaven or paradise as it’s known in Islam, does not contain any approximate estimations or numerical references to the population whether past or present.
However, the numerical figure of one hundred and forty-four thousand (144,000) recorded in the Holy Bible does make an appearance in the Holy Quran as well.
In Islam it is accepted by some that the companions (disciples, scribes, and family members) of the prophet Muhammad, known as Sahaba, numbered ‘one hundred and forty-four thousand’ (144,000) in total. Quranic Scripture mentions twenty-five (25) of these companions by name but does not disclose the actual total number of Sahaba.
It is also believed that the total number of Islamic prophets is ‘one hundred and forty-four thousand’, although this has also been reported as a lower number (124,000) and even as high as 244,000.
