Everything about Quran prices and values
The most expensive copy of the Quran was sold at auction for $2.33 million at Christies auctioneers in the city of London in the year 2007.
The book was written in the year 1203 (Islamic Calendar: 17 Ramadan 599), signed by Yahya Bin Muhammad Ibn ‘Umar, and is believed to the oldest known complete and dated copy of the book in existence.
This record breaking price is the highest sum paid on the open market for any type of Islamic manuscript.
