Everything sex addiction in The Quran
Sexual relationships are formed, developed and allowed the scope to flourish within the margins of a lawful and approved marriage under Islam.
Sexual waywardness and addiction often leads to infidelity, which is regarded as one of the most despicable of human activities. Sexual compulsion without discipline and governance leads to the engagement of sexual activity outside of marriage. This carnal activity is a dishonest and culturally unlawful threat to the sacredness of marriage and consequently a danger to the survival of the legitimate family unit.
“And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is ever an immorality and evil as a way” (Quran 17:32)
Sexual addiction and its capacity to damage the quintessential ‘married life’, the community spirit, provoke conflicts, spread deception, and cause death, is a permanent fixture in popular literature and a widespread theme in most contemporary societies today. There are several very specific textual confirmations in the Koran that forbid sexual recklessness and compulsion.
“…And do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated ”. (Quran 25:68-69)
