Everything about sterile men in The Quran
The subject of male infertility and female sterility is addressed in the Holy Quran with clarity and divine authority.
“To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He creates what he wills; He bestows male or female, according to His will; or He bestows both males and females and He leaves barren whom He will; He is full of knowledge and power.”
(Quran 42:49-50)
Muslims believe that all forms of creation are the result of the almighty will of Allah.
God chooses who is born a male and who is born female, who fertile and who is infertile. Those who are infertile must therefore recognise the supremacy of Allah, understand the divinity of Allah’s knowledge, and accept the will of Allah.
The situation can also be considered a test from God. The Quran contains passages that prepare the reader for earthly trials and tribulations that will test a Muslims faith, wisdom and devotion.
Patience is featured as a true virtue; one that must be called upon in times of great struggle and pain.
“And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient". (Quran 2:155)
