Why are so many things in English?
As computers, tablets, laptops, and smartphones become more and more popular in our daily life situations, so is the obligation to speak English.
Why are more people in my country speaking English?
More people speak English today because English has now become the global language. The language is spoken by over 1.75 billion people and this number is increasing every day.
Why are more people around the world speaking English?
This is because English is the language of technology, and as technology continues to grow and become more important to us, so will the ability to speak english, the official language of technology.
Will everyone speak English someday?
This will probably happen at some point in time. For now, the English language is the most widely spoken language in the whole world
It is also the official language of over 50 countries and other countries have certified English as the official second language. This is because a modern nation cannot deny or ignore the usefulness of communication in English.
Why is English so important now?
The importance of English in our modern, global society is due to several factors. Firstly, it is the language of international communication. English is the primary language used in international business, in the international scientific community, in the world of technology, the international language of education, publishing, movies and series entertainment, music, conferences, and in the global world of politics.
However, the most important reason is because English is the language of the internet, and over 50% of all the world’s websites are written in the English language.
Another reason why English has become so important is that English is simply the language of travel. English has a simple structure and this makes it faster to learn than most other languages. Therefore it’s the most commonly spoken by tourists, which makes it easier for travellers to communicate with locals in foreign countries.
Finally, the spread of English has been facilitated by the fact that it is a flexible and adaptable language that has absorbed words and phrases from so many other languages. This makes English a modern and easily adaptable language that continues to stay fresh and appeals to a very fast changing world.
The importance of English cannot be overstated. From its historical influence of the British Empire, to its dominance of the United States and the rest of the western world. Its flexibility and adaptability have allowed the language to absorb words and phrases from other languages, making it a truly global language.
